I start reading the post happy with the adjustments and end up sad seeing that my build will receive the third nerf in a row... in short sad, but fair enough.

" Most players(me included) that enjoy hard-ruthless style of poe 2 wouldn't play it if they would have easier mode, not because i like easier mode more(i like ruthless style waaaay more than softcore where you get everything soft spooned) but because why would i waste time for something i can get way easier in other mode. So no i like this as it is way more. More stronger and less white pollution screen mobs = heathier game experience.

I am thinking 2 things here
1. Gold should not be obtainable by items you can trade. Gold should probably not be used for respeccing 2. Builds being overpowered means that there barely is one build on each class in one ascendancy only that is enjoyable to play. We are talking a or s tier and every other build on that class is a c tier or lower. At least that is what I experienced and what I got from Meta analysis done by others. I think the game needs a huge buff on every underperforming skill. Or in some cases a buff so that skills or ascendancies so not solely rely on a unique to be playable. But I am excited to see the changes in action. At least it will give me a reason to log in again. good stuff here, worth the time reading it after waking up.. :)
I am particularly happy about the Occult section (Chaos) changes, since I am trying to do my own build, and around 90% of Witches roll with minion build.. And I feel like chaos dot is only depending on skill lv upscale (which I can not be sure yet, if it will go all the way) with a need of taking all or most of the chaos nodes, leaving some space for defence, that might not be enough... Right now I am planning to keep it with Blood Mage, - not to change to Sorceress spells - because Chaos/Bone skills is obviously one way of the Witch. By the way, I really do not agree with these one shotting deaths, I see from others, and they are coming from anywhere.. It just does not make sense to me. IF it is possible to build against it (at every class? ), without going way too far.. then okay, be it. Also dying once and loosing a lot of.. stuff on maps, permanently seems too harsh and punishing, ppl will lose more than just ingame stuff.. and will make everyone look for builds, making the effort put "in more build", "a lot of viable builds" actually, useless. I see that it is important for GGG to make a difference on this, (maybe their testers had easier time here, than the public :) ) end game ppl skills, that I agree with, but I personally think it could use a little change. |
