The quest is meaningless. To get Ascendancy points, you have to do the next level of trials. For 3rd, it's 60+ Barya/Ultimatum and for 4th it's 75+

which one you want to do is up to you. If you're courageous you can get 3rd and 4th from the same 75+ one if you want.

Wrong - Ultimatum(3) drops at 75+ and the mobs hit like trucks, on top of debilitating endgame modifiers. It is just an error and I hope they correct it.

Oh I didn't that know honestly. I did Sanctum for my 3rd since being able to farm relics with Honour Resistance makes it so much easier than Trials... though takes longer.

all those crash fixes really paid off.

So so I just keep farming nodes in endgame until I get tokens that are lvl 60+? and do they drop from mobs in the endgame nodes? Thanks for your help, btw! This is my first PoE game, been trying to learn and keep up.

Items will drop at the level of the enemy you killed to get it, or Area level from boxes etc.
So any area level 60+ Djinn Barya, be it Cruel Act 3 or the endgame Atlas, will be enough to meet the requirements yeah. They can drop off of any enemy.
