Sorry to say, not mean to be rude or anything...
anything wrong with filter blade that I should be aware to use this? or is it just another option to have? (more options, always the better) |

As I lay out in the 'Filter Philosophy' section of the website, I use a different approach. Below are some of my gripes with FilterBlade, why I never used it and why I decided to finally seize the opportunity to create an alternative during the launch of PoE2 EA:
1. I never liked how FilterBlade and the NeverSink filters completely change the look & feel of the game. My heart bleeds every time I see a screenshot or a video of these beautiful games, but with the screen covered in inconsistent, fluo colors and eclectic styles. My filters by default don't change the default label styles -- yet allow tailoring them thoroughly (and much more easily) for those who want to. 2. I reckon there's no functional need for so many different styles: a) you filter out what you probably won't ever want to pick up; b) the rest is highlighted with an in-theme beam, minimap icon and drop sounds, with a tiered color signaling how important the item is and thus how much effort you should do to pick it up. 3. Also related: I never liked how using the NeverSink filters you seem to have to learn literally dozens of color codes and styles; to have an idea of what they all mean. I don't believe you need those, as long as you just hide the items you know you won't need. 4. That means that you might have to fiddle with the filter generator once in a while: hide more items as more start to drop; turn on/off certain currency or recipes like the Chaos or Chromatic recipe,... So that should be quick and fun to do. Using the Quick Filters, updating your filter literally takes 2 seconds: check one or two boxes and hit 'Sync', all on one page. 5. Also related, I never liked how FilterBlade takes opinionated, implicit decisions about dozens of things, which you're not aware of and might not agree with, let alone understand *why* they do that. Unless you fight your way through dozens of awefully designed and structured sections. I think my tool proves that it doesn't have to be that way. The tier lists are intuitive and fun to interact with. It's self-explanatory, and where there might be doubt, the (?) discretely and succictly tell you what you need to know. And an interactive tutorial guides first users through the tool if they want to. 6. Which brings me to the last part: the usability and look & feel of the website. I notice that most people don't seem to care as much as I do, but as a developer and UI/UX designer, for me it's borderline impossible to work with. ![]() PoE1: Secrets of the Atlas support - v0.9.96 - 12/06/2025 - All new currency, fragment, gem and divination cards added. - Images, stats and metadata added where available. - Initial price estimates and tiers configured. - Support for the new Advanced Filters: ZanaMemory for Maps, MemoryStrands for all Gear, and a dropdown for Transfigured Gems. You can now start preparing your filter for the Secrets of the Atlas league launching Friday. Until then and after launch, check back often to get the latest version with last-minute improvements and fixes. If you still want a filter that works for v3.25 of the game (Standard League), head over to legacy.poe1filter.com. Note: you won't be able to use the 'Sync' functionality there, you'll need to download or copy/paste the filter manually. As the Path of Exile 1 version of this tool is brand new, inevitably some features will still be missing and various aspect can undoubtedly still be improved. Aditionally, it's always possible that at launch, the filter might contain errors. There is no way to test out the new items and features beforehand. We can only rely on the official Item Filter Information forum post, but that might contain errors. We'll be waiting in the queue at launch just like you, and once we're in the game, we'll be doing a lot of initial 'sanity testing'. If we discover any issues we'll publish hotfixes quickly. Be sure to check back, update to the latest version, and re-sync. You can always reach out to us to report issues and suggestions over on Discord, or here. Would it be possible to provide a version of this tool that doesn't have any premade sections? I just want a good UI to create/modify my own filter. It would mostly be the Custom section, but with the option of selecting a Cosmetic theme for each Block and the corresponding Tier List drag/drop funtions.
I think that i can do what i want by just using the Custom section and copy/pasting that into a new file, but i would like the functionality officially supported. Great tool so far 9/10! Zuletzt bearbeitet von geek_bait#5182 um 12.06.2025, 16:44:15

" If GGG were to create a loot filter i strongly believe that it would be similar to Poefilter, the drag and drop concept is very intuitive and imo this should be expanded even further, sticking to the default design as much as possible is also the right approach since you don't know exactly what users want to change |

Last-minute League-start improvements - v0.9.97 - 13/06/2025
We've made several small improvements to the tool, the tutorial, and several League-start related presets. If you've already configured a filter we're **not** automatically migrating it to reflect the latest presets. However, if you didn't yet make many changes to the Quick Filters, **we suggest that you re-select the initial campaign preset and re-select your class**. This will use the latest preset values. - Most importantly, we're already hiding all Normal, Magic **and Rare** gear from the 'Early Campaign' preset. This should be fine, since we're using the Leveling Weapon & Armour exceptions. Additionally, we're now showing *all* rare Gear up until Area level 5 (Submerged Passage). - Marauders now get Weapon Exceptions for all Martial Weapons and Sceptres (thanks AricNeo and Erfar). - Already from the 'Early Campaign' preset, we're adding an exception for Quality Flasks. - 'Mid-campaign', we're hiding Normal (White) jewellery. - 'Late-Campaign' no longer uses a 'Hide Basic Gear' rule, as we're still using the Leveling Weapons & Armour exceptions. - Orb of Alteration was moved from 'C - Yellow' to 'D - White' tier in SSF Tiering Mode. - If you are only looking for Two Hand Leveling Weapons, we're no longer highlighting any Shields as Leveling Armour. - Adapted the descriptions of the Progress Presets to reflect what they actually do. - Made several additions, fixes and clarifications to the Tutorial texts, e.g. explaining the Basic/Advanced/Expert/Elite Gear Base Type Tiers (thanks AricNeo). - Increased the Area Level where Leveling Weapon & Armour works by 10 levels. They should now in theory work all the way up through T15 maps, although this is not advised. Godspeed, exile! Remember, if your filter fails to load, be sure to check back here to automatically update it to the latest version and re-sync.
