Corpse generating skills or a passive effect that creates corpses

" Totally get that. but there's a difference between 100% uptime, and the 0% uptime which a lot of these skills have during bosses. its stupendously bad design. I dont need to have 1000 corpses littering the screen during a boss. but some way to generate 1 every now and then would be nice. Some bosses even have adds that dont spawn corpses when killed lol. |

Put infernal legion on some minions, use sacrifice, you will get corpses.
Take passives to minions respaw faster. |

" If they aren't having 100% uptime they have 0% uptime. It cannot be gradual, iunless there would be just CD and total absence of corpses. Cooldown may define percentage of uptime, a non-replenishable resource cannot. Especialy in endame where currently most of corpses are being destroyed by various effects. Which means pretty much entire ascendancy and the skills are sueless. CUrrently these minions would be nearly instantly destroyed by bossability so not having ability to replenish in combat is a design mistake. Or, again, theylie about not wanting glass cannon builds, as that's another push toward glass cannon builds. There is now even a weapon which totally based on corpses. You cna't make weapon skill which would be useless most of the time. Or volatile dead should be removed as weapon skill. So Lingering Illusion requires 30 spirit and a skill slot... with really no good support options.
So, to couple something with it and make the power charges worth it... you use an entire different skill slot... Waste of space when skills are limited.. Example - Worst set up... Lingering Illusion plus Charge Infusion (which also has 0 reliable support gems, unless running max life build). Im trying to use Profane Ritual with Charge Infusion (sounds like a great concept), but Im NOT running a minion build. Cant make bodies in Simulacrum or on Bosses... Cant waste another skill slot on a minion to keep on cooldown. Profane ritual doesn't work with it anyways. Seems like this entire system is VERY inefficient and TAKES AWAY from the original POE style of customization. (Cast on minion death build using Raging Spirits - Energy gain seems too low, so I have to run 4-5 COMD spell setups) There just isn't enough room in the game for some builds. |
