Corpse generating skills or a passive effect that creates corpses

Some bosses never spawn minions, thus making skills that rely on corpses (like Raise Zombies) totally useless. Please implementing more ways to spawn corpses.

Seconding this - I get some bosses may not create adds, but Raise Zombie has the capability to create Zombies from corpses OR Power charges, so one would think that there would be an easier method to acquire power charges in place of corpses... But there is no reliable method by Act 2 to create those power charges without corpses being made available...

Profane Ritual? Needs Corpses
Power Siphon? Needs adds in order to potentially create a power charge.

Power Within and Lust for Power Notables require a minimum 14- or 17-point allocation, but that still doesn't give you a minimum power charge, just increases your maximum (which still doesn't resolve this either.

If you can't create corpses when their aren't any, nor can you create charges when you can't make corpses... you're really stuck
For the most part, working as intended. Jonathan has said before that he considers Desecrate a mistake, and there will probably never be at-will corpse generation in PoE2. Skills which are fueled by corpses are not intended to be 100% uptime.

There are ways around this - the Lingering Illusion buff skill can provide corpseless power charges, and the Sacrifice high-level buff skill lets you treat your reviving minions as corpses in exchange for a longer revive timer. But the idea is that temporary minions are exactly that and aren't intended to be reliable boss damage. Part of how they balanced minion gameplay.
Just another egregious design mistake.

This is the worst feeling minion gameplay I've ever experienced in my life. If Jonathan actually feels that way I should probably just uninstall the game.
General discussion gaming forums are almost always a cesspit of ignorance and trolls.
Also no summons means good luck refilling our flasks...
Several skills/builds do not work without some kind of reliable ability to generate corpses.

Volatile Dead, for example. Zombies (as already noted), etc.

Maybe there is some unique out there that is mandatory for these things to work, but at that point, it is a questionable decision why would they drop wands with volatile dead instead of making it also a unique option.
I have been using Redflare Conduit to generate power charges but is too low level body now to keep using it.

% Power charge on hit as a support gem will solve this issue, were you use another skill to generate charges that you can use to spawn zombies.


Right now, I am using lingering illusion and baiting bosses hits... but going melee to bait an attack to generate a power charge to summon a zombie seems a bit too much..


Some suggestions that could fix this issue, one will be enough:

* Allow Power Charges to be generated with a spell
* Increase mana cost of Zombies without corpse (triple it?)
* Chance to generate corpse on hits
* Make it zombie to reserve spirit (3-4 spirit per zombie?)
* Lower Sacrifice to tier 1 and make it better (60 spirit and slow resurrection is too much to paid for this)

Accourding to a reddit post. So I cannot verify 100%. SACRIFICE does NOT worth with profane ritual, or unearth. Een though it says it treats the skeletons as corpses. Those abilities do not work. IDK if this is an oversight, a bug, not programmed yet. But I am glad I looked into this, as i was JUST going to start a new toon, specifically to have a profane ritual minion pack. Using the devouring diadem for 20% life regen every 3 seconds, and the other minions for profane. AKA Death oath 2.0 =^.^= I also wanted the unique boots, that turns corpses into gas clouds, for even more shenanigans. If the reddit post is true. I would have leveled all the way up to get sacrifice, just to find out it does not work. SAD
It's weird ggg. We need corspes for the zombie skills but in the boss fight where are the corspes for the skill we invested into?
