RTX 2080Ti CPU temperatures are extremely unusual and dangerously high (sometimes 98+ degrees), and only in PoE2. Tried Vulkan, tried lowering all settings, undervolted CPU by 50mV, turned off Intel Turbo Boost, nothing remotely helped except turning Multi-Threading off, but who wants to do that. GGG really needs to look into optimizations on the CPU side. As long as the game is frying my CPU for no apparent reason, I'm simply not going to play the game. Early Access or not, Honestly insane that this hasn't been addressed yet. Game is close to unplayable for so many people. |

found this thread via google, thought i find answers, but all i see is people with alot better systems than me have the same issues xD
while i am able to play the game, al my resources of my laptop get used, laptop is extremly loud because of it, avg. temp while playing poe2 - 85-90c nvidia overlay or whatever you wanna call it says the following while ingame: fps: capped at 60 gpu: 80+% despite only using half of my aviable vram according to ingame poe2 F1 overlay cpu: between 20% doing nothing inside hideout, to 45-75% while mapping and 100% during loadingscreens specs are as following(keep in mind its a laptop) gpu: rtx 3050 laptop cpu: i5 12500h ram: 32gb harddrive: ssd m2 512gb of some kind disp.: 144hz like i said on top, i can play poe2 with nice 60 fps, but damn me, no other of my games is useing so many resources, and sadly i have to say its only poe2 thats messing my laptop up so much, not even poe1 with all the massive monster density, spell effects, clutters, ground effects etc. |

The issue in the first ACT didn't occur. After jumping into the second ACT, however, the issue got worse and worse to a point where my PC froze every now and then, and CPU usage was beyond optimal. I do have a high-mid-end PC. I believe they are working on that and will try to work around the issue by the time we talk, but rather than focusing on new content, I would try to fix this. The more playable the game is, the more people will join/come back.

I hope GGG is working on it. But the lack of response from GGG on this thread really worries me a bit. Having same issue here I`ve done everything I`ve found on reddit and at the forums at this point. Never had this issue before game update to Dawn of The Hunt. Love the game but it`s unplayable at the moment unfortunately.

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8 core
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 32GB RAM cpu is at 100 percent and game is unplayable I spent multiple hours today changing all sorts of settings in nvidia control panel and app. Also changed windows graphic settings and turn offset voltage to (-) in bios. I am done wasting my time trying to get this game to run and I will now be launching LE |
