Continuous Stuttering/Lag Despite Stable FPS and Internet in PoE 2 Early Access

I am using xbox series x with fiber internet. Running 120Hz max settings.

Brand new to this forum and fairly new to the game. I have only been playing for a few months but aside from the small bugs I am happy with the game. This morning I experienced the lag spikes. While having fiber optic internet this was alarming. I did everything on my end to fix it with no avail. But through testing I have narrowed it down.

SOLUTION: the problem seems to stem from the loading of new areas. Which is also the fix. If you load into a new area and experiencethe lag spikes (town doesn't seem to count) then load back into the area you came from. Repeat this until the spikes dissappear. Once the spikes are gone you will no longer have lag spikes for your duration in that area.

NOTES: Teleporting to town can cause the spikes to come back. But will not remove the problem. Only moving from once instance/area will remove it.

This may be tedious. I haven't tried the chat option but this option seems to be idea till they fix it. I hope this helps as we all want to play this game smooth 😎

On a further note. I did notice dying can cause the spikes to come back. Right rinse and repeat loading into another area to fix.

servers have been dreadful on EU today constant stuttering

I've been dealing with the stuttering as well but mines started yesterday 5/30 and it has continued to today. I think that it's caused because my GPU goes crazy (like 99% usage) when I lunch and that just on the title screen.

+1 EU servers have been unplayable lately beacause of lag spikes

this morning and up till about 3pm on EU servers were fine.

Now they are having a fit, lag and stuttering not sure what happens but its always mid afternoon till late night game is unplayable

Can't even complete 1 map without the stuttering starting up again. It only seemed to have started for me within the last two weeks, but clearly its been going on for others alot longer.

Unplayable in this state. Dying to mechanics you couldn't even see, my own character stutters on her own words, can't even pick up loot because its stuttering so badly, after just launching the game and starting a fresh map. Please address this soon, I want to play. :(

I'm on NA server. Doesn't seem to matter which NA server is being used.

same for me since few days - getting worst lately.

For now you can type /clear and /cls and that clears it up for a few minutes.

Could not believe it but it works for me.
Seems to be the issue with "chat"

Had this problem for months - sometimes the game was playable but most of the time i just was dying and dying due to these lags. Deleting shader cache did help for minutes sometimes but .. not rly. Turned on my VPN an hour ago and all lags vanished. cant believe it. YEAHH !!
