POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

Well yeah disabling this results in 30fps,

Same issue here after setting up my new PC

you disable it only for the loading screens and then turn it back on.

For all of you suggesting reinstall Windows 23H2, you shouldn't be forced to COMPLETELY reinstall an OS for ONE game when the rest of your games run perfectly fine. Not to mention most people with an AMD CPU will lose and additional 10%-15% or so in other games as well with the branch tree AMD patch in 24H2. Also ignoring the fact that MS will force you to install 24H2 anyway (depending on if you set your update setting before hand). It seems that people that have done a deep dive on this that this is a basic coding issue that is creating an infinite loop, hence the computer coming to a grinding halt. An update after a week of this happening is the least we could ask for, especially since a good majority of us paid the $30 for the early access.

I wonder if its possible to make it an option to do it automaticly

(al-be-it a temporary fix for the actual issue, at least it would put me and probably other at ease and able to play at a decent frame rate :) )

made double post because of site crash, read my next post pls

having same issue, freezing the whole pc and have to hard restart with button all the time, was happening in poe 1 last league as well

ryzen 7700
nvidia 4060
windows 11 24H2
vulcan
lowest graphics settings
no overlock/undervolt, no xmp/expo enabled, everything in stock settings
multithreading enabled (not gonna disable this just to fix issue, i want to enjoy the game in high fps and not in slide show)

P.S. the site crashed with 502 error just like trade does, made double post because of that

I found another solution without sacrificing any FPS; I tested it and noticed no issues when I had some loading screens where the PC crashed.

Press windows key /system/display/graphics.

Add pathofexilesteam.exe to the list and change your video card's GPU preference from let Windows decide to High performance (Nvidia in my case)

Already tried it, didn't solve the problem.

Still freezes and crashes.
