Hard crashing PC locks up
" I'll raise you +1! I've had a lot of luck with POE uncrasher but I did have a couple of crashes, thankfully only 1 or two had to be a hard restart. It's nice when I can just close poe2 with task manager. |

" I think telling people to add a command line to report crashes is a complete slap in the face. It not only shows they have no clue what's causing it, but now they want people who paid for the game to act as beta testers and for the hard crashes risk bricking their PC. |

" That command line is only for GPU issues. It has NOTHING to do with the CPU crashes. Zuletzt bearbeitet von Blackheart6004#3483 um 28.01.2025, 02:53:39

Hi everyone, I had lots of issues while trying to play the game but finally I manage to play it stable without crashes for hours (after trying almost everything I saw online), my specs are:
CPU: AMD 7700X GPU: Nvidia RTX4090 SO: Win24H2 Requirements: BES 1.8.0-test31 - link: mion.yosei.fi/BES/ zanepoe2-fix-crashes-exe.zip - link: nexusmods.com/pathofexile2/mods/9?tab=files How to: 1º Create file named, for example: PoE2.bat 2º Add the lines: echo "Starting PoE Limiters" timeout 2 "C:\PATH_TO_BES_1.8.0-test31\BES.exe" "E:\PATH_TO_SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Path of Exile 2\PathOfExileSteam.exe" 15 -m | "C:\PATH_TO_zanepoe2-fix-crashes\zane_poe2_X3D_fix_crashes.exe" timeout 2 exit 3º On Steam, go to PoE 2 -> Properties, then in GENERAL add to LAUNCH OPTIONS: C:\PATH_TO_BATCHFILE_CREATED\PoE2.bat | %command% 4º Launch the game and play without worries I hope this works for everyone as good as it does for me, Best Regards to all |

The game stopped crashing on me.
I can play it for several hours now, not using any core-parking programs or increasing CPU priority beyond normal. I'm still using Vulkan instead of Direct X. At this point, I'm content not to use Direct X. The game seems a lot smoother with Vulkan. The only odd thing I'm seeing right now is that every so often, the game pauses up for a brief second and my sound driver zonks out, leaving me with no audio. When I go to the options menu to select an audio option, it shows "No audio device." It's usually set to my Nvidia Card's Audio driver. Rebooting the PC fixes it. No idea why that's happening. The only change I made on my end recently was in my Windows Advanced Power Options in the Control Panel, I changed my PCI Link State Power Management to OFF. Not sure if that fixed anything or not? ![]() Windows 11 24H2 (Steam), AMD 5800X3D, RTX 4070 Ti Super 16GB, 32BG DDR4 3200, Samsung 980 Pro SSD Zuletzt bearbeitet von Stormscourge#2254 um 28.01.2025, 07:01:33

It would help if GGG could update on what they have found with the logs. I am still crashing with Vulkan and PoE uncrasher is not helping.

Rofl this post says everything you need to know about this company. So many players unable to play for 2 months now.
Crazy. Mite be the worst launch of any PC game ever, with the exception of Atlas. :) |

Patience? Ran out of that long ago.
