Envenom not triggering with spark

According to the text of envenom any skill that hits can envenom. Spark projectiles are hits but it does not appear to be causing envenom. Is this a bug?

Running Envenom on Spark with no applications of poison. Works fine with Chaos Bolt with enemy health bars flipping green regularly. So, I am assuming this is not a spell vs melee/arrow issue.

So I'm having the same issue playing sorceress tested on early skills so far spark, frost bomb, frost bolt, ice nova doesn't proc it at all. It also doesn't seem to proc the it with skills granted by weapons. So its seems to be bugged in general.

I think it doesn't work with Herald of Thunder and Orb of Storms either

it should be working even description on gem it ticks that spark can use and it is hit dmg

Can we get a GGG answer on this. Is it suppose to on any spell or attack that hits per description. You can even slot into Spark. Seems to be bugged.

I have the same problem, I tried both envenom and the bleeding gem and they don't work on anything so far (Witch), are we missing anything or they're bugged?
