Hello! Thank you for this amazing build! It plays really well with the controller. In the beginning it feels like pressing too many buttons because you have to keep switching ammo types, but its really worth it and not really that big of a deal. After two days of playing I'm feeling very comfortable with the buttons and don't even think about them.

I'm updating as we speak. I respec the 2nd ascendancy from +1 to skill gems into Adaptive Capabilities to help with gem attributes problem (didn't know that it would be a problem xD). Anyway, so now all my +5 attributes are strength (allocate just enough dex to equip your crossbow).
For Hardcore, I gotta say good luck to you, have to perfect you bossing mechanics, and otherwise mapping is relatively safe on this build, easy front-to-back shooting with Glacial Bolt.
Unique weapon is fine, but remember we're scaling Physical damage, so you need to get a rare weapon/weapons with high physical damage and that's all that matter.

If you are using glacial bolt, firing a few times, then exploding all the ice near the targets, they should all die instantly. My clear has been surprisingly decent. Nothing like a glass cannon sorc or minion builds clear speed but I like it. I don't even need herald of ice.
