[3.27] Ice Dancing God - Icestorm/Cyclone/CI - Viable For Everything

Hi, i didnt saw that question so i will ask. This build still can do t17, ubers with old setup? I mean without 3rd ring and with utility potions?

I forget what the old utility flasks setup was, if we're not quite at taking the Nameless bloodline.
According to my Settlers' Whispering Ice character, we used Atziri's Promise, Rumi's Concoction and The Wise Oak as far as unique flasks go. Utilities were Diamond and Corundum, both Doctor's. Did something change in 3.26, Kelvynn? I skipped that league. Zuletzt bearbeitet von Bellaluna1722#6299 um 04.11.2025, 15:49:31

Nothing has really changed apart from a minor nerf to One Step Ahead, but it shouldn't prevent you from still doing Ubers or T17. The 3rd ring is just a way to take advantage of the new bloodline ascendancies to get extra int. If you are more comfortable playing the traditional way with the usual flasks, then it shouldn't feel much different than any previous league (minus Phrecia obviously).
As for the people complaining this build is a bad league starter and such, I disagree. I have league started this build for several leagues in a row now and am far from some sort of hardcore player. I will grant that it's not as easy of a league starter as some builds meant to be purely that, and there are some builds that are better at one type of playstyle or the other. But the reason I enjoy this build and always come back to it is that it does it all. I don't have the time, energy or motivation to raise a starter build, a map clearing build, and a bossing build anymore. I can just use this build from 0/40 challenges to 40/40 challenges every league, and very comfortably and reliably at that. Zuletzt bearbeitet von Verdale#4745 um 05.11.2025, 00:33:37

So, about grafts: what is best bases(abilities) for grafts now? Looks like aegis tulgraft could be kind of useful?
|
|
" See page 507 and following. |
|
" I see mods discussion (any from esh with int% and any from tul with frenzy charge), not base item. There is 4 different bases, which give different skills |
|
" I am using these at the moment, although the movement speed does not do anything: The chance to freeze implicit is really good. I actually took that implicit away for something else earlier and went back to it because I did not realize how much defense it adds. When I was still at around 4k ES I went from running T4-5 maps to dying every map when I took that graft away. So I ended up buying one with the chance to freeze and the frenzy charge mod. But now that I have way more ES it probably doesn't matter too much. But extra defense is always nice. I have not found a good implicit intelligence graft yet. You could get a increased global crit chance implicit + % intelligence graft but I am not a fan of getting 10% increased damage taken with jolt... " Of course! You can definitely do it the old way. But flasks are not really necessary anyway. The 3rd ring gets you ahead of the old progression curve. You get more power earlier than before, and you can do things easier that used to require more gear/time/investment. Some stuff that I did yesterday on stream: - Uber Elder - First T17 map - Sirus with Maven It all just feels easier than in the past. I have 2400 Int already, and it's been only 5 days. I'm using just 3 flasks. And the one that gets the most use is the bleed/CB immunity one. Zuletzt bearbeitet von Kelvynn#6607 um 05.11.2025, 11:31:08

" In 3.26 we had Mercs. That was a very fun league. Very OP, and with AoE explosions too. The devs said that they will add Mercs to the core game eventually, just not in 3.27. Other than that, nothing changed in 3.26 compared to 3.25. I didn't even need to make any new videos. |

" Same as discussed above. I haven't found anything new there. Tul with Frenzy charges is fantastic against bosses. Definitely the #1 choice. Preferably with chance to Freeze on top of that. Esh with 4% Int for the other hand. Preferably not with Overcharged Sinews (that makes you take 10% more damage). |
