Use a Fallen Rev as your Merc and give him the Doriani's plus the negative resist rings. You get the upside without the downside. I found one that also runs Wrath.
Also wanted to say I'm really enjoying this build. While Ziz put out a guide for this, it's a non crit 1h/shield version. I haven't bothered to try it because I've been loving the crit version so damn much. I can blast T16 8 mod corrupted maps with zero issue (using regex ofc to weed out bad maps). T16.5's are fine too as long as I remember to avoid Sirus degen and volatile orbs lol. I haven't done much with T17's this league. They just aren't for me tbh. Maybe if I get a MB for this build I'll switch to T16's but it hardly seems necessary considering how lucrative and cheap T16 8 mod corrupted maps are. This isn't the fastest mapper I've ever played, but damn is it one of the most satisfying. |

Oh Also, don't forget to give your Merc Perquil's Toe Amulet for Lucky lightning Hits. Another massive DPS increase from our aura bot merc lol

Adding a Golem of Safeguarding once I get to 100 instead of the Chaos Golem as well, just replacing the Diamond with the Chaos Res flask. --- BTW, please don't use Elemental Focus on your LC, only your Orb of Storms is freezing right now :( And replace the Flat Lightning to attacks crafts with maybe 8% of Lightning added as Chaos? Thanks for the heads up. Swapped to the gem setup you're using. And grabbed a trigger scepter. Changed from the flat Lighting to lighting as extra as well. Was a DPS upgrade.
This was the weapon I swapped to. There isn't much on trade for these believe it or not. This was only 80C |

One thing that sucks is that switching to Aegis allows us to run those juicy reflect maps, but our mercs cannot.

Nvm. I solved this by a little search. Dawnstrider boots give them ancestral Bond. So they cannot do damage. There are other options, but they're also insanely expensive like ALberon's Warpath (10 Div currently lol)
