simple reason for mtx prices: support for supporters costs money.
if you buy a 5$ mtx and bother support with something, they already paid more for servicing for you than you supported. also, credit card fees which companies have to pay for eat into smaller transactions more than into big ones. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

I don't understand people who say they would buy MTX if they were cheaper. How many would you buy? And would you purchase more the next year?
And if the answer sums up to a full armor set + skill effect + portal, why not just buy 50% less often? Like if you're willing to give them money every month in an imaginary system they created, why not put aside whatever that 'fair number' fee is to you, then buy the mtx you like when that pooled money reaches the floor to buy what you like? I generally find restaurant food overpriced. I'd prefer to make something at home that is 80% as good for 20% of the price. That doesn't mean I never eat at restaurants, it means I eat there less often than I would if their prices were cut in half. |
