Hatred was just way to stupid, with extra Damage from Bonechill + Skitterbots and access to alot more curses and better Gem Links. I have yet to find a way to match that with chaos conversion. Edit: I just don't see it, especially with clusters. Full cold conversion with EE can make use of Hatred + Vengeful Commander (~10% more damage) and Raze and Pillage (~8% more damage). With all kind of chaos reduction nonsense and 15 Wither stacks I can't even get close to the same damage. Thats with Hatred + Zealotry on top. Maybe I missed something. Do you have a pob? Yeah chaos is tricky as in POB it might show up as less damage, but in reality it's pretty crazy as mobs have little chaos res and bosses have less chaos res than a ele res.
