I am playing this build and currently in a8.

My notes so far :)


- Kinetic Bolt feels pretty bad until a2 (see next point). I have it linked with Added Lightning, Added Cold and Elemental Damage on Attack.

- Spellslinger is absolute MAD for levling. Everything just melt!
Get a second 4L and add in Arc, Added Lightning, Elemental Dmg and Spellslinger Support.
This leaves enough mana for Wrath or double Herald.

- Things melt even more when you have four golems.

- Barrage is too slow for levling. I swap to it for bosses.

- GMP felt pretty good with Kinectic Bolt. Will likely use it if I find 5L.

Guys, I see a lot of barrage support mentions here. But barrage can't support kinetic bolt. Am I doing something wrong?

That sucks if the Golems fuck with your dps a lot. They seem fine to me, they are mostly just there to buff us a little. Nothing like a Necro build where there are dozens of summons.

Very detailed damn. I'm lazy and just scuff my way through until Act 6 haha but thanks for the notes, will help a lot while I'm typing up levelling advice :)

Probably too late now but Heralds for sure. The current setup I'm using is Herald of Thunder, Herald of Ice and a Spellslinger + Arc. When I get my Uber Ascendancy I'll work Wrath into my build.

Energy Shield with CI will just be far more expensive. I'm sure it is viable though. Acrobatics is just a cheap scuffed defense which gets the basic job done.

I used Kinetic Bolts. Kinetic Bolt > Added Lightning Damage > Volley is the way to go. Typing up a detailed guide now :D

IT's a wand attack, it is always a little awkward in Act 1. It ramps up significantly with Heralds and Spellslinger. In maps now and it is a lot of fun. Will update with videos shortly.

Yeah I underestimated how powerful extra projectiles were going to be. Volley for sure is sounding amazing.

I am using Heralds and Arc + Spellslinger into Maps, until I get Uber / a Heraldry Jewel. We already have decent damage to get by without Wrath, for early maps anyway.

Combine both! Arc + Spellslinger is amazing. Make sure to be using Heralds as they are a big source of our damage.

Awesome notes! The Barrage and or Volley come in clutch with the extra Projectiles. Make the skill feel so good. I also tried Lightning Warp, it feels whack. Not being able to attack as it is Spellslinging the Lightning Warp makes it really awkward.

Thank for the feedback! I found pretty much the exact same. Currently using GMP in my Tabula. Will make a video update with my current gear and a tutorial for how to Level for those sturggling.

There is a good chance you are trying to use the Barrage Attack and not the Barrage Support. It can be confusing, the person who commented below you linked the proper Support Gem. You get access to it at the end of Act 4.

It's actually really nice! You just have to get the right stuff (easy to do). I'm making a Levelling Video for Kinetic Bolts if that interests you at all. I will show a basic levelling guide and how the skill is functioning so far.

So far lvl 52 few notes. This build is not gonna be sirius 8 killer simply because of golem retarded ai and suicidal tendecies(last league i tried burning arrow and it was whack because of same reason golems died). That being said golem dmg buff is so stupid that it can carry you to red maps with just tabula and 5c wands.Havent had any problems with lvling so far single dps is getting fixed with help of storm brand. kinetic bolt it self is damn nice skill and clears amazing with barrage support. One of the easiest starters ive had in years minus arc trap in incursion lol
