That's the point, if you take a look at Energy Leech, you gain more % damage if you are leeching than if you are full ES.

thats the point

Energy leech is good only if you get dmg from

FULL es + while leeching.

If you cant get these 2, then other gems are better

Interesting, I didn't know the gem could grant both. Are you technically leaching energy shield when it's already topped off? I assumed it worked like flasks.

Main reason is to double dip elemental damage with a "Elemental damage as extra Chaos damage" wand.

This makes no sense as cold and lightning is elemental.
It would get the same extra chaos dmg anyway

elemental gained as chaos will apply twice: once for the lightning before conversion and then for the resulted cold. That's why is double dipping.

This is my current gear, not the best but I seem to be hitting 22 - 25k DPS on the tooltip, using kinetic bolt for both mobs and single target seems to be working- only just started on mapping though so we'll see.





Also, are there any alternative body armors that people recommend besides "Incandescent Heart" and "Briskwrap", too cheap to try farm and spend 21 exalts for a "The Eternity Shroud" at the moment, lulz.

On a side note, for a lark I added a second spellslinger this time using lighting warp, the visuals are pretty amusing though they can lag quite badly in the new mechanic, just don't try it in a delve if you want to live.
