I have not tried ED/Con. I likely won't. It's not a "1-button" playstyle. Same reason I haven't really done anything with Bane :(. I hear how strong it is though.

Imortal call, even though it messes with Bone Armor, I agree it is almost mandatory with all the explodes going on.
Again, the beauty of this build is it gets you to end game, and you can take it anywhere after that because you should have a basic grasp of the tree and gearing and ALWAYS have a fall back point you can retreat to and start over when things don't work out!

Animate Guardian is high risk, high reward. It's always a surprise enemy that kills your guardian and you'll lose all it's gear except its chest (if you have the mod). So a second golem, whether it's the same or different one isn't a bad idea. With Minions, really only the Carrion, Stone, and Chaos golem work with us, and physical damage reduction always helps.

And yes, Brutality removes all non-physical damage potential from it's linked skills. The reason I use it is because it works with Phantasm's projectiles and Zombie attacks. Melee Phys won't improve your Phantasms (that's ok). If you want to keep both in the loop, Maim Support is your next best bet (and maybe what 3.11 uses as well).

Personally, Furor_Dei, I'd just go for an outside Cluster Jewel spot. Jewels are fun to improve/replace.

Thanks, what cluster jewels work well with this build? I have not explored them at all. I am trying to use path of building to check minion dps but it does not seem to calculate as i expect (it says nothing about the chaos dps from grave intentions).

The difficult choice here is that animate guardian is a red gem and chaos golem is blue so i can't just swap them and swap back. I potentially can switch out elemental army support in helm to chaos golem but that doesnt seem like a great idea either. really need to figure out if golem vs guardian is better, and fix my tree and gems accordingly. it seems to be a bit mixed up (especially with golem commander and grave intentions and i mentioned before)

lvl 90 and 50% to next level ( died twice today, once to hunter poison and the other because i walked away from desk and came back dead). About 10 days in this season I think this build has some real potential to crush all end game content fairly easily and without a huge budget. I have spent less than 2 exalt on gear so far too. Just need to iron out some details, I am a huge fan of this build and will keep chatting improvements here and play it next season.

I know I hated golems and commander didn't last long in my build.
I can't stand things that offer low benefit and die all the damn time!
I use Animate guardian with KingMaker and gruthkuls pelt kaoms roots and southbound gloves. A 20% minion damage bone helm with 90+life and 20+ chaos resist caps him off nicely. He ain't gonna die, but don't take him to Hall of Grandmasters either :) Kingmaker grants fortify and culling strike AURA.

Forget about your animate guardian doing damage, this ain't his build.
He is the most OP buff you could ever give yourself and your minions.
Properly supported he will not die. And minions with fortify and culling strike don't die either :)
I will wear your ghost and you will die twice, against me and for me.

Sweet, any unique boots to go with the set? I imagine https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Kaom%27s_Roots for the high hp idea?
