[3.14] Gannicus, God of the Arena – Deathless Uber Elder for Everyone

700% of almost nothing is almost nothing. If you want to do serious bleed damage you need a different ascendancy (gratuitous violence), changes in the tree and different supports for BS. This is an attack build not a DoT build.

Just saying.. I went full elemental by converting 100% of my damage to fire and changed some passives to include elemental/fire damage and penetration.

I still have trash gear, except for a Xoph's Blood amulet that allocates free Lava Lash, but my DPS tripled after doing this and my sandstorms actually destroy packs now. Even with %quantity gear I breeze through maps. Single target dps also went up.

The playstyle I use is dish out 2-3 bladestorms, leap away, loot later if needed. I no longer need to stand in place and attack a bunch of times like OP in videos, not even in red maps.

Raally don't understand the logic behind focusing on phys damage, imo you're seriously limiting the build here. I'm dual wielding cheap Razor's Of the Seventh Sun swords and doing great. When I swap one for a good rare 1h I'll do even better. These swords are pretty nice though, I recover 2% of my life when igniting an enemy so that's a lot of healing going on.

I'm also running trash low level gems so this has room to improve even further. I got rid of Pulverise in favor of Combustion Support.

I can't, for the life of me, get a good shaper sword like you showed in your guide and I am at a loss as to what I should do for an upgrade. Im currently using a saviour and a rigwalds savagery. Should I replace the rigwalds with a paradoxica or just continue using it?

I believe I say it clearly in the guide. You can use two non-block swords. So either a paradoxica or any high PDPS rare sword will do. Just get block from some other source like an armour craft.

Just came back to POE after a long break and wanted to say a big thank you for this detailed guide.

Really helped me get back into the game with a good old tanky and easy to play build.

After a few days playing around with the build and now getting into map progression i would love to get my build to the next level.

Glad you're enjoying the build. Just get a good Paradoxica (double damage, impale, crit, etc.), it's cheap and high damage. Then craft block on your armour. Then craft of the order on a flask, get a Stygian and better jewellery. And a protector. It's free damage, like a flask.

You mean leveling trees? No, just take life or damage as needed. The only thing you need to get quickly is mana leech.

Hello!

New to the game and leveling with this build.
Having loads of fun but I feel my dmg is lackning compared to my caster friend. We are lvl 50 he has 12kdps I have 1.5k. If someone here can help a new player out and check my build/gear to find what I do wrong it would be appriciated. Maybe casters are just superior early but it doesnt hurt to ask :)
