When the beta ends...

Will we keep anything from our existing characters? Will we enter a total fresh state? Or will the game be allowed to continue? Will beta testers get any unique item after such a reset? Or is getting in early all the reward we need :P

All accounts will most likely be reset. It's also highly possible that there will be several resets during the beta, as big changes are introduced, or just because, you know?
It would be highly unfair for players to join the game as it is released, and be 6 months behind because some people got into the beta. The point of the beta, is, after all, to test. You're but a guinea pig. Fourier - Level 41 Templar (Hardcore League)

You come into the game trying to be competitive and you have all these level 90 players with the best gear already, on the release date ? My guess is that if they give any bonus to former beta testers, it will be a purely aesthetical item, like a special looking hat with no stats on it, just so you can brag. When the entire beta ends(closed and open), I assume they are going to start everything fresh. No need to have anyone ahead when the game actually gets released.

I would assume its a fresh start. I hope it's a fresh start anyways, it's usually the norm people don't keep beta characters.
