I had the same issue than you. This build is really bad at taking down boss it seems. Now I got better gear and I can kill bosses faster but it seems rather slow compared to other builds. Clearspeed is really good though.

The issue seems to come from Scourge Arrow not hitting bosses enough. I noticed that big boss like the "Brine King" (the big crab) dies faster than other bosses.

I replaced wither totem by Scourge Arrow ballista with wither support maybe you can try this too.

Do you think if I cant find an elder bow, a ilvl 83 bow with "Adds (47–72) to (98–123) Chaos Damage" is enough to play the build? I dont know if Ill be able to get an elder bow to drop unfortunately. Seems like the mod is pretty mandatory for the build but until then do you think a high phys bow or flat chaos bow is best in ssf?

I would most likely go with either Warlord or Hunter 6l (Warlord for - mana cost, hunter for either recovery or extra curse) and craft on that.
