Multiple questions here to answer:
1:Carnage does deal more damage but I feel like the 10% increased damage taken does not really go well with Legion. I get oneshot with 6.5k hp already and do not feel like taking even more damage.
On the other hand without AoC I do sub 2 min uber elder so.... damage...?
2: I do not brutality because I currently use the Atziri's promise. I will include brutality into the gem section later with the explanation. As soon as I find lion's roar I switch to brutality. But currently it is not worth it due to the chaos damage and cold damage from Mark of the Elder.

Right now i'm running Fortify on my Bladestorm over Rage, and using Blood Magic w/ Leap Slam. Is the dps boost from Rage over Fortify a very large amount in your experience? In the past i've found that having fortify on my primary skills allows a safer experience since it's being utilised so much, but if Rage gives a very large boost, I'd rather switch.

That is definitely a playable setup. I thought about taking in fortify but currently am playing another char. However if you play paradoxica do not take out rage. Better take out another support of your choice. Close combat for example. The flat dmg from rage is too good on paradoxica to not take it.

The total value should calculate from base (20% of max hp (1250~) x2 from vaal pact which equals about your written value. I am at night shift at work currently so do not have PoB at hand.

How high of a dps Paradoxica is required for this? On the trade league, even remotely decent ones are extremely expensive.

Yea I just noticed that the price went up by quite a bit in the last days (From 2-3 ex to 4-6 ex).
The most important stat is either attack speed or crit chance.
That with a %phys dmg if affordable.

At this point it might be cheaper to look for a 1.8ats 7.5 crit jewelled foil. Did just stand up at work so do not have access to all tools. Will do some calculations in 4-5 hours and let you know.

When you open up the PoB you can select the skilltree at the bottom left.
I will put this information more visible into the guide since I get this request recently while it already is there :D
