Crashing to desktop after 3.6 update

same here.. since the 3.6 patch i'm experiencing a lot of lags and game crashes - at the moment i can't even launch poe any more, the client is "checking resources" and then - black screen w error message following poe.. doesn't respond..


maybe someone can help me out?

i helped myself out and ran packcheck. took a lot of time but now it works all fine again

I am having the same issue. I eventually narrowed it down; it occurs while I have the soul eater spectre jewel equipped (unending hunger), in predictive mode only. It doesn't happen on any other character, and it doesn't happen in lockstep (which I can't really play in).

There are varying reports of whys and hows. In general it seems switching ot lockstep will fix it if that's something you can do. It also seems to be heavily tied to bloodlines, soul eater, abyss, or anything else that causes a lot to happen at once when stuff dies. If you're wearing a head hunter try to take it off, dont run maps in bloodlines, etc etc.

At the moment I'm running without unending hunger. It sucks, it's a large damage loss, but not crashing every 5 minutes is worth it to me.

This is what causes the game to crash to desktop ever single time.

yes, 3 times today for me again, in 2 hours ( 2 even in 5 minutes ! ).

no message, just crash to desktop.

they fucked up the game client big time with 3.6 !

never had that before ... wont invest into any support pack / mtx any longer, i am done.

Same here. After merciless lab, Impossible to go back to the Ravaged square to finish the story. Tried 10 times, game crashed 10 times, without any message.

I tried to empty cashe folders, no effect.
The last line of the client.txt file is :

Feels like a corrupted game

yeh same the game just keeps crashing every 20 or so minutes. Especially annoying during memory nexus farm.

Deleted all cache and minimap directorys and it still crash every 20-30 min.
Most time by zone change

I was just running in my hideout and BAM !!! PoE C2D
