Stand alone client wont continue downloading " Error "

same issue, running the game form the actual folder worked for me too

Why f2p games doesn't have support?

Each time I try and run the client, a different file causes a connection failure. Sometimes, a HTTP 429 error causes a failure. I have the Betrayal torrent file in the install folder. What's going on here?

I'm having the same issues as well and I'm on Windows 7. I've cleaned my computer using Advanced System Care Ultimate and completely uninstalled and reinstalled the game using ASC Uninstall.

Can't promise it will work for everyone but the following worked for me:

1) Uninstall / Reinstall
2) Download the Content.ggpk torrent from Betrayal (linked earlier in this thread) and paste it in your install folder.
3) Run PathOfExile.exe in the install folder as Administrator.

use a proxy and connect to the east coast. make sure it uses east coast dns as well. just did this for my build.

I have a same failure erroe when i use wireless(Toshiba laptop), but I have no erros using eteheret(cable connection). I don't know why,but it works to me. Try it.

after many tries with running as administrator the x64 launcher as administrator, it didn't make any progress.

It really kills the mood.
