the base poison damage does scale with chaos attack damage, but not the damage over time of the DoT portion of toxic rain, AKA the pod DoT.

thats like saying flat chaos damage will raise the DoT of caustic arrow. it works the same way.

Attack damage and dot damage are always separate. Poison is a different story and scales differently too, as it's an ailment

Poison is even listed in the DoT scaling mechanic. https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Damage_over_time

Of cause, as it does chaos damage over time when you do a successful hit with physical or chaos damage. But it's an ailment and is separate from generic over time effects, like toxic rain itself for example.

How do you deal with freeze and bleed with this build ?

Following a similar build, but slightly different. Quill Rain+ Thiefs Torment+ mirage archer+ poison gem+ RAT/barrage/GMP/withering touch is INSANE. One of the most fun builds I've played in awhile.

Yeah I use that setup too.. I got around 27% MF coupled with the 15% quantity from my thief's torment. And I must say.. i love it.. The damage still feels off the wall even tho I'm not using embalmer for my mf setup. Such a satisfying build with the insane movespeed we have.

are you sure? it has sulphur there. And Karui can be dropped for a generic life flask

It's also pretty fun that Mathil eventually came to the setup which i use here.

So basically we do not need Karui or the Dying sun, since then we won't have bleed removal?
