Hey guys, just to start this off I'm a fairly noob PoE player so I could be missing obvious stuff. I'm into mapping now on this character just kind of doing T2-4 stuff, level 83. Have about 50c right now, but wondering what to focus on. I just switched over to the Wand+Shield V2 this weekend which is why I still have Victario's.

What should be my next few gear upgrades? This is usually the point in the league at which I burn out, I want to try to be more focused this time and hit higher map tiers and more endgame stuff.

Ok, specifically to your question: I tested 4 SDs and a chieftain and hated it. If you could get to 6 spectres and not lose damage, what would you run as your 6th? If you’re speaking for end game min/max, you’re already set up for lightning so you wouldn’t want to introduce a spectre that deals a different elemental damage (elemental army and -lightning res for instance on zombies and AG helm).

I don’t feel like there is a need for more damage with this build, so it seems to me the push should be for more survivability. What did you have in mind?

Ditching a 6th slave driver for a survival or support minion, since i can't use an ape due to no ability to put in blood magic. There are some support options, but the projectile dome minions are useless with inherent conc effect.

The guide goes down there anyway and you could afford it if you get rid of your Aegis and the nodes leading to it.

Btw with all this armor a Molten Shell might be better than your IC.

..and if you just want to change ascendancy, you can simply run normal lab and respec there. No reason to run uber lab for it.

PS4 player checking in.
Switched over to version 2 of the wand and shield. The build is solid even with crappy-mid tier gear and under leveled gems (had to buy most of them fresh)! I feel way more solid and less likely to die and damage is still strong. Switching was more expensive than I expected. Had to spend 20+ CO for regret orbs but if you start from scratch you won’t deal with that. Last night I had 3 crashes in the first map so I was worried skitterbots or something new in the build was causing it. But after shutting down for the night, this morning I ran 2-3 maps without a single issue. I can 100% say that skitterbots count as minions for bone barrier. The biggest issue is the lack of dex. Even with lvl 1 phase run and some +attributes on gear I don’t have enough for phase run. So I’m just using flame dash until I can get something to help that. I miss phase run a lot!

Managed to get a CWDT crested tower shield before the guide change and inevitable price increase. It isn’t end game tier but it’s decent for where I am budget wise. I still don’t have the trigger wand effect. Trying to get it from syndicates but no luck yet. Working on low tier maps and everything dies super fast. I have TONS of room for gear improvement (still using Ullr, wraithlord, and a garbage 5 link chest, not to mention absolute trash gloves and wand) so I expect things will be even more impressive once I get some more currency.

Thanks, but those are mostly for 4 or 5 spectres not 5 or 6 with a specific gem requirement due to the helmet. It's some good info though for anyone looking for ideas that is using a 6L vs a hat.

So that's why I see a lot of summoners run with those dogs (ruins hellion). If you want to go ultra defensive one hellion might be handy
