Yeah i have the same issue. Perhaps its because this build does not have a cast on hit + steelskin or something.

I remember playing zombie build a few leagues ago which gave me 6k hp + 5k es and big regen. But this is nothing like that.

it has no defense at all so you are gonna get one shot if you get hit. glancing blows version with a life on block shield can help a bit but it's still not enough to prevent misplay. you just gotta get the minions to tank for you and avoid the one shots. diadem helps a bit with the recovery but it's not super consistant and it still doesn't help against burst damage

that's eventually why i switched ouf of the build, i felt little progress aside from killing a conquerer half a second quicker. that's fine for some but if i wanna put a ton of time into a build i like to be a bit better defensively like lowlife carrion golem is.

I find it better. Conquerer kills are often quicker because they go straight on them without having to position for the shotgun or the thing where they do nothing in melee range. Map clear is similar. Slightly less screen coverage but their crazy aggressive behaviour alongside the fact that you move quicker with a buffed haste makes it really nice.

But bare in mind I bought every required gear to fully juice it as lowlife. It was around 40ish ex, maybe up to 50 depending on fluctuations. So I got no idea how it performs without investment which is why I'd recommend syndicate operatives still for someone expecting to spend between 8-15ex to get an amazing character
