How did you feel about Act 1 - 4 with the guide? Did you change anything to make it easier for early levelling?

It seems like some people have trouble with Dominus and act 4 Piety killing all the spectres. Sometimes I can't judge because I played summoner for a long time.

I think flame army or flame focus spectres will be good for mapping too (use SG/CFE) and can transition to lightning (SD) or cold (RS/RK) depending on gear and personal preference. Lots of choices. ^^

It's more like 6L because minion damage and conc effect are only elder damage mods. If it's minion life + dmg, then the damage is just 5L.

Minion damage + conc is good for aoe spectres only. So SD, and fireball spectres like SG. RS can't use it. Better for SG/RVA because SD with reduced aoe has very small hit area and makes mapping slower.

You can also use aetheric fossil to get +3% crit to socketed spell (gives minion +3% base crit).

7L needs horror essence for 30% ele damage. (more like 6.5L).

I guess for SD, minion life helps a lot, though!


For best RS helmet, you need shaper/elder for minion damage + hypo. It's not a bad option actually! Buy high life +1 str body armour (much cheaper than int). Then buy elder with minion damage + helmet with hypo and awakener orb.


Minmax RS/RK (also good for other spectres if you can apply chill for hypo).
1. i86 elder/shaper bone.
2. spam horror essence until hypo 20 + 3% spell crit + 30% ele (3x suffix)
3. craft suffix cannot be changed
4. exalt slam -> get minion damage 20
5. if you don't get minion damage, scour -> go to 3
if you get minion damage -> slam again -> get +3 minion gem
if you don't get +3 minion gem, scour -> go to 3

+3 minion gem
minion damage 20
hypo 20
+3% spell crit (gives to minion)
30% more ele damage
1 empty prefix
