Tencent has Invested in Grinding Gear Games

I bought supporter packs to support GGG not Tencent. I will never buy anything from you again.

Sorry, did I not buy enough support packs?

Should have saved up and gone for that juicy "majority stakeholder" title.

Rookie mistake.
@GGG: I don't know about you, but wouldn't you agree that maybe, just maybe, you would have owed to your long time supporters to announce your plans in advance and listen to their opinion before you went ahead, selling your skin?

Some people invested a lot in your game over the years and once the new "owner" will properly monetize the game - and eventually they will, don't deny it! - people will feel betrayed. There is no way around it. I understand that it's in human nature, to maximize profits. But I just can't help it - I feel betrayed. The supporter packs were supposed to keep you independent!! Now that you enslaved yourself, please stop selling supporter packs and ask your new master to pay all bills. I'm not really motivated to keep doing it any longer.

Guess it's over. Was fun tho. I bet many of the players do not share your vision on Tencent's reputation. Anyway, it looks like that with all these moneys you don't need my little support anymore.
There is a sure way to die.

Билды - это листья на дереве Path of Exile. C каждым патчем одни опадают, и каждую лигу вырастают другие.
It's a shocker...
We'll see how it goes...

The one thing scarier than being bought out by the chinese.

Going forward, we will have financial reporting obligations to Tencent but this will have minimal impact on our philosophy and operations.

But sometimes, Tencent will request features that they want to try in the Chinese version that we don't plan to roll into the international version. If those features turn out to be a really good fit for both versions, then we of course port them back into the international version.

...now beings the downfall of PoE. If Tencent owns you, they'll be making the calls later, regardless of how much you reassure us. RIP.
