Tencent has Invested in Grinding Gear Games
|
why say it is bad ?
how about see what the future brings ? it is still a fun game. and will probaly be for years to come. |

Owner
Tencent (80%) Chris Wilson (13.17%) what a sad day. |

" I should know better already but people are obnoxious with how they latch on to stereotypes and stigmas about business practices. I think people were under the impression that all their supporter packs were going to a few dudes in a tiny closet. People like to make money. Enjoy the game while it’s fun. Support if you want to or put zero dollars into it. It will die eventually because all games do at some point. I’d hate to see what these people would do with a real crisis. |

If all games failed that Tencent acquired, then they obviously wouldn’t be near as successful as they are. They are very successful for a reason

Sorry, but I really don't believe it will not affect the game. Maybe not in a month, but in years to come. Truly a sad day, a big company swallowed another small fish.

i dunno, i want to hope everything's going to be ok, but I've been through this before with other games and it never ends well.

"Invested" in GGG. LOL, they bought your ass, that's more than just an investment. Hopefully the game doesn't take a nosedive for it. Good luck, I'll keep my credit card in my pocket for the immediate future until i see where this game is headed with our new chinese overlords

" Except they don't own a majority in any relevent game besides LoL and everyone will tell you what a shitfest that became when they took over. |

I wish I could be hopeful, I've put a lot of time and money into this game. I love it.
Do NOT let them take away what you have created. By any means, this game has kept me out of the darkness for years. |
