Data Usage for PoE Per Hour?

I personally have been in those shoes many a time. On average I personally have only seen around about 75mb an hour on average. When it came time for patches though no matter the size I would always go to the library near by and download the patch usually doing a quick drive cloning updating at the library and then updating the at home drive, takes a bit longer than downloading the patch but doing that way I never went over on data limits

its usually not playing a game that has serious consequences on data is what i have found out. its the downloading of the game and any patches. usually the game itself (if large) is several gigabytes which can destroy your data plan (i mean unless you are me with unlimited data...) then regular patching usually is a few hundred megabytes in games to a couple gigabytes.

i allways play on a mobile connection and from my own exp i can say as long as i dont need to patch from my connection or use it for other stuff i am under around 5gb a month with a good playtime per day in poe.

for patches if there is a major one you notice, cancel the update and go with a notebook/ harddisk/ stick to a friend and download from there.

I'm using a mobile connection to play PoE at work as well, most data usage i has was around 250 mbyte in a 12 hour session, so ~21 mbyte per hour.

Good god she must be brave to play PoE over a mobile hotspot.
