Wrong.

PvP has the same rules as the rest of the game, with the exception of skill damage values vs players and the fact that dying there does not remove you from HC or remove exp from your level.

The maximum block chance cap is 75% (for both attacks and spells), with gladiator giving a possible +4% to max, ascendant gladiator +3% and the anvil unique amulet +3%, resulting in a maximum block chance of 82% in gladiator's case and 81% in ascendant's.

Then BCR ain’t strong enough because I have dualies with the max rolled Leo BCR mod as well as the gem, and that shit doesn’t seem to work enough sometimes lol

A small buff would be enough

82% alright made 3% mistake lol, though gladiator could get 85% with legacy anvil.

Still giving level 20 bcr the equivalent of level 25 seems enough of a buff
(+2% block pen/+3% dodge pen), not overpowered but would help better against 82% block.

And dont take that the wrong way, im with you i like PvP, i enjoyed every single match i have done in the arenas since the first day, but i also realize how broken some mechanics are since day 1, mechanics that me and at least 20-30 alpha testers back in the day (with the famous pvp expansion) asked GGG to rework to no avail. And mind you those things couldn't even been balanced in the lld category in an era where fewer skills were available, no ascendancies and less mechanics overall. Its a nightmare for GGG to even try and fix the general pvp scene at this point of time.

For example i remember even when BCR gem was initially released i asked GGG to improve the numbers by adding a flat number reduction plus a percentage one, cause no matter how you see it you are spending a gem slot solely to be able to even damage your opponent while he has that extra gem slot available for a more multiplier.

Anyway thing is even if BCR is buffed now, it wouldn't matter that much if everything else remains the same. PvP proved to be a dead end and rather non-profitable for GGG, i guess spending even minutes rebalancing it isnt worth their time (even though i would rather enjoy a total rework of pvp values and mechanics)

I love pvp but I can’t say it’s dead when I walk into Arena the day leagues end and everyone is in Standard. Arena is usually packed at that point, but it’s chaotic. Not always good chaotic; one-shot offscreeners, unkillable tanks, various cheese builds... as President of PVP, this is not the pvp I desire for all of you who are under me!
