Im curious, I have rerolled into KB because SST just..was not up to par, and I am loving it so far.

I have seen quite a few of the top (non MF mind you naturally) KB'ers, run their KB in a Thunderfist and a Barrage single target in their Queen.

Any idea why? I might be missing something, I feel my KB does as much damage single target at lvl 83.

Some bosses will be impossible to kill with KB only. Barrage in a 6-L is what most "all arounders" do. I have made some updates to the guide to include notes for this. KB will feel worse with less links but having the extra options for single target is nice.

We still get esh mirror buff with monters getting one shot?

I feel like I'm missing something with my character using this build so far. I feel like I should be one-hitting packs with KB plus the Herald of Ice shatter chain, but most of the time this is what happens:

I'm going to move Gathering Winds to the front as it's probably one of the best 2 pointers for leveling. If you're keeping barrage then the doubled accuracy is better, if you're dropping barrage then the free pierce is better.

Yes, you can leave your character screen up and see your damage going higher.

I can't figure it out. Maybe that mob type in particular doesn't lend itself to herald of ice shatters.

thi3n, how do You maintain mana for 6L KB in Atziri's Acuity version tree? I see no mana leech and no mana flask.

I fixed it by getting a bunch of Abyss jewels. Now it plays like this:
