Its not hard to craft an ideal axe with T1 or 2 Fortify/phys, IAS/IAS if killed recently hybrid then multi mod with +2 support gems, Flat phys, and Either str/int + quality. The DPS difference between this axe and disfavor is pretty significant. Stay away from Starforge, go Disfavor at first and save to craft an axe using Ahfacks crafting guide on the OP. That's very interesting info, good to know, cheers. Since you seem like somebody who knows your stuff and actually theorycrafted, do you have any take on the 10% double damage craft that people have been throwing around without getting any response? In other words, do you think Ahfack's crafts are the optimal ones? Are you talking about his axe on standard? If so, yeah that's probably the best axe on standard and definitely optimal. I am not 100% sure how double damage is calculated so if I am wrong here hopefully someone that knows better reads this. I am guessing double damage is calculated as % chance * 2. Which in this case would be .1 * 2 = .2 or 20% damage increase overall which is not very significant. Im pretty sure %chance to deal double damage is something you need to stack in order to make it worth while. I meant the one he uses as an example in crafting your own - just fortify & phys%, multimod, flat phys, aspd, support gems +2, int/str & quality. Though I suppose he also mentioned that ideally you get phys% + accuracy multimod as well as natural high attack speed. The +2 support gems and 'Hits can't be evaded' is kind of up in the air, too. I suppose the idea with crafting your own from scratch is hope for the best, but accept a substandard result and go with a first "okay" one. Hey guys. This build has been pretty fun :D Right now I've hit a ceiling. I know I kinda screwed up the axe craft.. It as my first time so go easy on me xD What should be my next upgrade/gear swap in order to tackle guardians and shaper/uber elder. I've completed all atlas until T15 except some unique maps. Do you have your configuration settings setup properly? A jewel is needed to be added in order to properly calculate pride, Imaple and a few others. Look a the PoB Disfavor Paste bin Ahfack posted on the OP. Fill your tree to the extra Jewel slot he takes above Resolute Technique. You do not actually take this slot in game, it is just an extra jewel slot to properly calculate some of the damage sources PoB doesnt. Copy the Jewel modifiers he posted into your own PoB and adjust accordingly. Look up how to properly calculate Impale damage and use your own numbers in the formula and add this percent to the jewel. Using Ahfacks PoB pastebin, click on configuration and set up your settings to match those.
