You want the good things (taking care of the sick, anti-pollution, public education, rich giving to the poor, public roads), and if those things are happening, then life is great. When those things stop happening, you have two options: - Force them to happen, which takes you up the authoritarian track into the deepest of reds and gulags. - Accept that they will never happen without force, which takes you toward Mr. Ancap McNoRoads. " yeah this is something that made me less left leaning over time. As I said earlier, I'm a single man, no kids. I have a more than decent salary so paying high taxes doesn't bother me I have more than enough for myself I consider myself rich. So in my perspective paying taxes isn't bad.... But as time passed, when I saw people around me with, 2-3-4 kids, both parents working. Trying to raise their families... this is where I think we should drop this whole redistribution of wealth. Let them have what they worked for. They deserve it, and they need it. |

I'm also perceived as right wing usually or centrist depending on the prejudices of the viewer. I think this test has some problems.
