Fact: The US sanctions against Russia made law on December 23, 2016, were mostly drafted no later than July 17, 2016. That's the last time that legislation was amended prior to passage. How can the punishment be levied before the crime is committed?

Second, the question is whether she (or Trump) is "using the office." Were they acting as individuals or as officials of the government in the interview and/or tweet? I'd argue not, but I guess there's room for debate there.

You know how nonsensical it is to say there's a Muslim ban? There's are millions of Muslims living freely in the US.

Wow, trying to limit travel from countries we've fucked up with bombs (or extreme sanctions) recently, so terrible, what a monster. Obama bombing the fuck out of these countries is completely fine of course (give that fucker another peace prize) but Trump preventing them from coming to the US for 90 days until better screening is implemented? Completely racist anti-Muslim hate, obviously.
