I think I've read that you can only pardon someone found guilty, so yeah, he probably thinks he will be found guilty of something, of what only he can tell. There is a bunch of different groups in Syrian. As opposite to the narrative, that these groups are peaceful and fighting a dictator, some of these groups are armed, violence and dangerous, are killing civilians. That is right from the beginning. How come nobody talk about this? Assad is dangerous and these rebels are not? That is ludicrous. It is only when these rebel group degenerate further as the Syrian civil war continue that people recognize that problem.

You don't need to explain this to me. The western media elites were spreading the Pentagon/CIA propaganda of "moderate islamists" since the start. Some still talk about the moderate islamist opposition, even now, when it should be very obvious that all these (non-ISIS) armed groups are radicals too, with many of them having ties to al-Qaeda. And Obama was sponsoring these shady figures, because he hoped they'll manage to topple Assad. (at what cost, it didn't matter)

The only non-radical group in (kind of) opposition to Assad are the Kurds, and even that's a stretch, since they have ties to PKK terrorists in Turkey.

Why does MSM not talk about it? Because they are paid to not talk. I'm puzzled why there are still people out there who believe the MSM corporate liars? When it's so fvkin obvious that MSM are pro-war shills and have been since I remember.
