You have NO idea. Just personal experience talking but i once waited 13 hours in the ER waiting for them to stitch me up. There was a massive pool of dried blood on the floor by the time they finally got to me. There was 1 doctor on staff that night. This is at a Hospital, in a major city.
E: If its not immediately life threatening, you're fucked. Ironically.

Our healthcare system would never be in favor of the Canadian system. Too much money to be made by keeping things the way they are.

9 month wait to get screened by a dermatologist for skin cancer, after seeing a doctor and being referred to a specialist for a closer look.

Drove to Chass Southwest Center in Detroit and got a free SPOT me skin cancer screening by a dermatologist in 10 minutes.
