I would love as many melee buffs as they'll give us! Had to go CI this league something I refused to do for the past 3-4 leagues just to finish challenges easier. Also buff armor/life/evasion.

I'm expecting nerfs to maces, because 1h maces are unbelievably popular
and big buffs to daggers, daggers are completely underused and need heavy, heavy buffs to compensate for the weakest melee currently available. |

I'd love to see those buffs bear fruit.
But unless GGG is going to significantly change up the skillgem real estate situation, nothing will change. What i mean with that, is that skillgems that dont have the AoE tag built in have to both waste a support to get AoE, and cant support their skills with a switchable conc. effect/inc aoe as the situation dictates. There is also the situation where melees have to specifically only increase a portion of their damage with different skillgems, instead of increasing the whole hit. Compare that with spells which get more damage on pretty much every support, and it is for the entirety of the spell damage.. And of course, wasting a gemslot for fortify in its current state is totally out of the question. |

I was hoping to see something about buffing life and defenses not named CI, Ghost Reaver, Vaal Pact...
buffing one handed weapons, okay so maybe claws, axe, mace need a touch up. There had better be more then this come 3.0. One hand weapons have better att spd and generally better crit opportunities then 2 handed. Plus 2 handed give up a shield, dual wield bonus. I want to hope they know what they are doing. But the balance in this game is pretty bad that I can't be a bit skeptical on this. Then again, it's early... we will get more information later on. |

" because unless you have a 300+ pdps 1h weapon if you are non crit you wont do enough damage to do anything. In my time playing this game, 12,000+ hours, I have found about 4 or 5 1h weapons that hit 300pdps or above. Spells are hitting 100k, 200k, 600k+ type figures just by leveling their gems. The highest non crit 1h weapon I have ever found in 4 years of playing this game more hours than most people with a 9 to 5 job have worked in that time period would be lucky to get 50k dps. My guild leader foxtactics grabbed a random lvl16 freeze pulse gem earlier and just for kicks threw it in his 4 link gloves to see what his dps was... 250k dps, from a lvl16 gem in a 4 link... thats spells. Try a 4 link with the best 1h pdps non crit weapon u have ever found, youll have about 25k dps at best. " ya seriously, this is like 8 posts over 2 threads telling you faster casting does not work with attacks like blade flurry, it only works with spells. Take the faster casting gem out, the guide you are following has either added chaos or crit multi in that other blue slot. Iv never seen the guide, but I can be almost 100% certain that is the case. I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

I think Arrowneous is trying to message out that Blade Flurry feels more like a spell than melee hence faster casting gem.
