How do temporary DoT modifiers like the one on Witchfire Brew work?

Do DoTs applied while the flask is active deal bonus damage for the DoT's entire duration (even after flask effect ends), or do all DoTs (even those applied before flask usage) deal more damage for the duration of the flask?
How do "Deal Double Damage" modifiers work? Examples of this are Collateral Damage (http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Collateral_Damage), Weight of the Empire (http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Weight_of_the_Empire), and Might and Influence (http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Might_and_Influence).

Is it a "Deals 100% more damage", thus double dipping?
Or does it only apply to the hit damage, thus not double dipping?
I have a question about the "reliс soultaker" after using the divine orb, my physical damage magnification rate never exceeded 140% for 20 divine orbs, although the initial value was 160-200% which means that it lost its relict power?

Can Hrimburn gloves allow cold damage to ignite and freeze? I am trying to ignite but not freeze. Chill is fine.

Damage modifiers update in real time. DoTs only benefit from Witchfire Brew while the Flask is active, and will lose the Damage bonus when the Flask runs out.

As is always the case, Divine Orbs reroll to the newest available values. You bricked your relic, sorry.

Nowhere does Hrimburn say it prevents Freeze -> Hrimburn doesn't prevent Freeze. :)

Mods like that only apply to the hit, just like crit multiplier.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

I figured as much. Thanks for confirming :)

Thanks for the quick answer. The thread you linked confirms my thoughts posted above.

Regarding Sunder:
The wiki says this: "Area of Effect: Increases to area of effect will increase both the area of the wave and that of the shockwave created."
Citing this response from Mark:

Is that statement not current?

Saw that one too, hard to say because we don't have many AoE stripe effects, they're usually wide projectiles like Freeze pulse. I'll just test it a bit later.

Tested it and it doesn't work. Found a nice, harmless totem, pinpointed a pixel on the screen where you just barely don't hit it with the wave, then applied a 135% increase to the AoE without moving the character and it wasn't getting hit if I shoot for that same spot. That's fairly definitive, Mark probably misunderstood the question.

Thanks for going the extra mile.

Higher Armor passives can delay CWDT procs?
Im doing one defensive build, with CWDT + Molten Shell + other that i'll choose..

So my doubt is, if i choose many armor passive on skill tree, this will automatically raise the threshold of CWDT to trigger? even while the gem on lvl 1?

If yes, worth i remove all armor passives and get life based and life regen tree?

Pls help :)
