I use Fast sync ( uncapped fps without tearing) usable with nvidia gpus
fullscreen + fast sync + V sync in game + fullscreen + triple buffering ON (no idea if it changes something): no tearing, very low lag input, no stutter, 75-540 fps depending of the area.
fullscreen + fast sync + triple buffering ON: uncapped FPS, but a lot of stutter, very problematic. it's not smooth at all, no tearing.
Borderless/windowed + fast sync + vsync: it uses the in game V-sync PLUS the windows 10 double buffering , bigger lag input, 60 fps maximum. So fast sync doesnt work at all.
borderless/windowed without v sync without fast sync: no tearing, a lot of stutter, unlimited fps, it uses the double buffering technic of w10 graphic api shared mode.
the best is definitively the fast sync + v sync in game in fullscreen mode.
Is your monitor 60hz? I can not test it but if your monitor is 60hz, you have 75-500fps, than shouldnt you use fast sync only?
Fast sync from my understanding kicks in only when your fps is higher than refresh rate of monitor and in that case it works "like" g-sync without input lag of v-sync. Respectively Fast Sync send 1 frame per refresh cycle - in that way there should be no tearing/stutter at all as GPU sends only 60fps to 60hz monitor.
