unique items *no longer updated*
" I just said the base type if people want to try to chance it. I haven't said anything special about it. I love a good teaser, but I hate spoilers. If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between.

" http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/340794/page/13#p2987218 Chris: "+100% This change is because we've added so many uniques recently that their individual chances of dropping were getting a lot lower than we intended. It's good for people to find common uniques occasionally so that possible new builds are opened up to them. It's still hard to find the rarer ones." " But when I asked how drops worked, I was told by multiple people that first the base item is chosen, then followed by the decision of what quality that base item will be (unique, rare, etc). So the number of existing uniques would not make a specific unique more or less likely to appear, but more existing uniques should have made it more likely that you'll get *some* unique. I'm no math wiz, but 0.001 x 100% is still.... trash? Even if not, who actually wants more crown of thorns taking up inventory space?
