" An interesting item obviously, but assuming one takes all of the major str/dex nodes and follows on strictly that side of the tree, while using an astramentis-type amulet, rings, and getting +str/dex on all of your gear, it is feasible to have close to, if not more than, 1000 total dex/str with capped resists and room for IAS/IPD on gear. This staff could very well fuel its own build, because remember, the str applies twice, 1% for every 5 as well as the 10% for every 10 (at least, that is the way I see it, correct me if I am wrong please) which would result in 1000 strength granting a 1000% increase, along with the standard 200%, at 100% more attack speed (dex) with X% iAoE from your shitty int. Now, take this and combine it with Sweep, which scales amazingly off IAS and IPD, and you have a monster build. Ign: TheMidgetCow (Level 88.8 CI Leapslam Templar --- Default)

" It's the Monkey King's staff! I've been waiting a while to see how they'd implement this one. I'm a bit disappointed that it's also a Long Staff -- we have a bunch of base staves with no unique counterpart, so to make this 'share' slots with Searing Touch seems a bit stupid. The loss of the Shadow's original 'kung fu' staff stance also makes this item a little less attractive to me. Either way, Sun Wukong/Son Goku's staff. Very cool. If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between.
