but just take a brief look at 'ezomyte peak' a helm with level reguest zero. its by far the best dps helm for any phys dmg class. if u can compensate for the lost of defensiv stats this helm outperforms the best rare lvl 60 helm u can find damagewise....

Another unique I have a beef with. I don't like these low level uniques that are just so low level (or such bad unique characteristics) that they are not useful for even niche builds at higher level.

Maybe kinda useful for "low level dueling", but I don't see anything like that being popular?

Sometimes you can just have items in the game for the sake of having them, if your measurement of usefulness is purely based on end game, then 95% of the stuff that drops is worthless.. but, that just isn't true at all.

You also need items for people to be able to find while leveling...

I'm not saying they all need to be good at the highest levels.

I am saying that they should be useful for more levels than just 5-10 low levels. They should have more interesting characteristics so that they can be useful for a larger range of levels. I don't consider a bit of extra cold damage and mana leech to be special enough. I guess there's the cannot be frozen as well, so somewhat reasonable, but something just feels lacking.
