I didn't read last 130 pages. But I had Unique Flask before character wipe. It had 1 or 2 sec recovery time and during time i couldn't been killed.

Does gear that increase rarity of items droped from monster also increase chance for getting unique with orb of chance?

There's a disproportionally low number of 1h weapons (namely wands, hammer/sceptre, claw, axe), torso pieces, and even belts.
It would be nice if they could roll out some of those. Fresh cakes for all occasions.
