I get that. But while mapping, we already kill monster packs with one shot. I'm talking about single target damage. Take your latest Uber Elder video as an example. I don't think you had a moment where your Arc chained over 9 times and even if it happened, I don't think it's reliable (because we'd have to hope that bosses summoned 10 monsters).

When I import my char into PoB and add the Lightning Golem Effect to my helmet, my DPS raises from 259k to 274k. At the same time, with 40% increased Arc damage enchant my DPS goes to 272k. That's why I asked if those aren't better and more reliable options.

Despite I think my current build is very good and I can clean all game content, I'm kinda addicted to tuning the numbers. I'm currently trying to maximize damage and I'd appreciate if you could give me any tips to achieve this goal. I saw what you did with your mace, but I don't have master lvl 8 so I still can't do that.

I think POB cant show "for every remaining chain" effect. Correct? Still 15% is multiplicative, 40 is additive, what was mentioned in this forum several times.

Yeah, everything you said is true. +1 chain is the enchant that provides the most damage. Bear with me if I'm not being clear here, but my point is that, despite it provides the most damage, it might not be the best. That enchant is unreliable (and as a newbie, I'm trying to confirm that here) because you'd have to have 10 monsters in boss rooms to get advantage of the 10 chains. And this hardly ever happens.

So the only moment that we'd take advantage of that enchant is while mapping. But we already kill everything with one shot, so it's kinda useless.

im afraid u didnt understand, how new Arc gem works. Description says: 15% more dmg for each remaining chain, that means that the less chains remain from single use, the more dmg it will make to target. That means that the less arc chains to targets, the more dmg primary target gets. After making deathless 8 tier corrupted guardians and Shaper with 1 death, i can confirm that.

But please, if im wrong (due to English isnt my native language + im a quite newbie to poe still), let me know too.
Congrats on doing Uber Elder with arc ! My first char was arc some years ago and it really sucked at single target. I still have it so I guess I should play it again. Seems the arc buff is larger than I thought.

Why not go Crit-Arc instead of using Elemental Overload?

Thanks for the build and the very detailed write up. Sorry to ask a question like this but i'm still very noobish. i looked at the videos and noticed something i can't understand and it's really basic. In lower right it shows your eight "powers" tied to the various keys to use them. What I am not understanding is how are you also running auras. Have i missed something that explains how to utilize powers that are not tied to key input directly on the screen. again i apologize for asking such a question but if you could explain or point me to some information on it i would greatly appreciate it.

Sorry but my English is not very good. But if I'm understand you, you speak for self cast.
You cab check on first page, Gem Setup. It's 2 setups with Cast when Damage taken.
If is not that, sorry.

Auras do not need to stay on your skill bar to function. So, you assign an aura to the skill bar, cast, replace aura with something else.

If you are following the guide,

assign clarity,
cast clarity,
assign wrath to clarity button,
cast wrath,
assign your preference of other skills to wrath button.

Wrath and clarity will now be active until you die.

This will also work for golems. Except that they can be killed, of course.
