Enki's Arc Witch Memorial Page & POE 2 Arc Summary

Still thinking to test the 3 dragons on this build….

But that was not the question I have.
What is the benefit to go 2h with staff? Just the spell-echo on Pledge?

Thanks

@Enki Could this build support 1-2 inspired learnings or is it not worth it? If it is, then do you have a modified tree to share?
I'm not Enki, but where would you socket the inspired learnings? I think there aren't really good options for this build, since you need to allocate the 4 notables for inspired learning:
Witch-Socket: Alchemist (ok), Instability (useless power charge), Dark Arts (only useful, if you duel wield), Blast Radius (semi-useful for Orb of storms)
Templar-Socket: Devotion (very good), Faith and Steel (ok), Overcharge (useless power charge), Endurance (useless end charge)
Shadow-Socket: Blood Drinker (very good), Mind Drinker (good), Nullification (ok), Frenetic/Infused (useless frenzy/power charge)
You probably won't go to the Marauder, Duelist or Ranger Area, so only the socket near the shadow start seems somehow possible, but you would need to spend a whole lot of points to get there and get all the Notables needed. I wouldn't do it... but maybe someone comes up with a fantastic tree for it.

Should Wrath be added to the endgame setup?

If you don't use MoM or do use an Essence Worm, sure - Wrath should be a nice damage boost. Without Essence Worm: At endgame you should have around 2k-3k mana - 50% reservation from wrath would therefore cost you 1k-1,5k HP which I think is way to much, even in SC.

@HDVision: The changes to the skill gems and the passive tree (even though this build is not really effected by these changes) apply to Standard league as well, but I don't think that Enkis new skill tree will look very different at char level 35. So you should be able to convert your current build to Arc-only (you may even get a free reset for your passive skill points - usually GGG offers those to existing chars if they change the skill tree).
But you could also start a new char in Incursion and enjoy the exclusive league mechanics there... new leagues are always fun, you know ;-)
What about maligaro's restraint with inpulsas'?

@BVB_1909 I was thinking near templar and shadow. I know the power charges would be useless and pathing a bit awkward but the power gained from Inspired learnings is insane.

Pledge of Hands not only grants us Spell Echo which results in effective crit chance but also a huge mana boost and therefore effective life.

Spell Echo grants us a nice damage and clear speed boost, you could achieve similar with daggers or a proper off-hand but these will be much more expensive especially compared to how affordable Pledge of Hands is.

The build is in no way locked to using staves so if you want to use something else you can do that easily but personally I really enjoy the item, incredible value.
looking to use a selfcast arc build for hc incursion, any idea how far into end game she can do?
First of all, thanks to everyone who took their time and answered questions in here!

I've decided to add the leveling trees and full PoB-setup despite the new Arc not being in PoB yet.
There's some issue with displaying the Lv80-100 trees on this website currently, so i've left them out for now but you can check those in Path of Building.

@Elemt: Orb of Storms is usually enough, but you can of course try out CwDt + Ice Spear in the custom setup if you want to.

Maligaro's Restraint isn't worth it for us, better get some life, res and flask duration on that slot.

@Grarth: My biggest concern is that the traps will be easily destroyed without Clever Construction, but that just needs testing after patch. If it works well it can be socketed together with Clarity, Flame Dash and some support or just Portal.

@Shukketsu: Only option I could see for Inspired learning would be a dual wield setup with Aylardex, you could drop Mental Rapidity, Nimbleness and maybe Sanctity or some other two-pointer to free up enough passives for this.

@HDVision: Tree barely changed at that low level, I think I took only 1 node out and it won't break the whole thing if you still have that one specced.

@blizaro: I've done Shaper and T15 Elder with the 3.2 version, however not deathless. With the new buffs to Arc/Vaal Arc and changes I made to the setup it should be possible if you know the fights.

My build can do everything but uber elder and atziri could become a problem due to reflect.

From 3.3 onwards Vaal skills will grant you the base skill "arc" in ADDITION to the vaal version, both skills in a SINGLE gem.

Also you will be able to gain souls by hitting rare and unique mobs so you will be able to use it more often than before.
