Sir May I ask why you didn't use Paragon of calamity to make your build cons lesser?and about arc which class is really better(or cheaper)Inquisitor or this elementalist?thanks for the reply in advance

Actually Elementalist and Hierophant have the same bonuses:

1) immune to ailments (both)
2) phys and ele resists (12% vs 16%)
3) more damage (30% halftime vs 14% everytime)
4) crit chances (90% vs 160%)
5) mana regen (1% vs 0.7% + 80%)
6) aoe (60% vs 30%)
7) cast speed (8% vs 14%)
8) life sustain (regen vs lifeleach)

Remain:

-25% resistances on WoC and 100% inc damage
vs
46% mana, 10% MoM, Transfiguration of Mind and you dont need 4 gem-slots for golems.

I think that Hirophant absolutely better then Elementalist, but it's fine idea for experience :)

I wanted to run this build this league, but then I started to thinking about all of the bosses that we are required to kill, and many comments on here say that this build isn't that great for killing bosses. Then I thought about having to kill 10 bosses at once, and that's when I decided that it was a no go.....

Just have to wait for another league when the objective isn't quite as boss kill driven......

It isn't the league that's going to have the new boss arena, it's the new atlas expansion. It's here to stay, so next league will have it too.

Enki do you think this build will be able to beat red map bosses with only an exalt or less of investment? Or is this mainly going to be a clear speed build?

Finished the 3.13 update! Please let me know if there's any typos, was working on this for 11 hrs straight and need some rest now.

The initial PoB might not look too impressive at first, but it scales fairly well as you put in more gear and activate the according settings in PoB for burst damage output.

You are right. I don't know what I was thinking...Oh well, not every build can be good at killing bosses. Guess I'll go with Blade Vortex or something that's good with boss killing.

Thank you so much for the great effort you did and still doing with this build. It was my first one when i started playing this game and it was the reason i fall in love with POE. i am so excited to begin this league with my favorite build after being a way for a long time.

That's not entirely accurate, by the real difference between the two requires much more analysis. You have to factor things like AS will be L1 ~25% of the time and L20 ~75%; that will factor into the value of buffing AS. Charges can be generated with a slight alteration of the build. Elementalist requires 4 gem slots and 4 passives which could be replaced by a 4L SB or OoS. The Golems, though, bring a very unique function to the build sijika to Hierophant's 10% MoM.

I say it boils down to Elementalist will outperform in dps whereas Hierophant excels at defense. Elementalist is all the more expensive option as it scales much better.

Hopefully someone can answer this, cause I'm a bit confused. Would Shaper of Storms (new ascendancy node) be a contender for higher DPS, if you linked a different support gem other than elemental focus?

Are the other ascendancy nodes (other than golem ones) better than this option?
