Enki's Arc Witch Memorial Page & POE 2 Arc Summary

I just spent 600 chroms and ended up paying a Vorici to remove the last green socket of my CoD... And now I see CD is replaces by chain :D (still think I'll keep CD, I get > 8% crit with it and a +100% crit wand, and will just try to improve it a bit more)

On an unrelated topic, I was wondering, why not put something like conductivity on CWDT setup instead of increased duration ?
With lvl1 CWDT it triggers pretty easily (so Increased Duration should not be very usefull ?) and with lvl 5 Conductivity (=> ok for CWDT 1) we get -29% LR resist on ennemies (can be upgraded to 30/31% with +1/2 lvl all lightning spell gems), which should be a huge dps boost right ?

Of course, we would change this once (if) we get Curse ring / wand

All this talk of crit made me look at my POB... I am currently running with 6% crit, so increasing that some may increase my DPS ya think? (Dunno if there is a way to assume EO uptime on POB?)

Watch your EO buff uptime as you clear. You ideally want it up as much as possible. Some people use a self cast Orb of Storm or Storm Brand once every 8 seconds to guarantee EO.

Lots of people run either of the following:

Orb of Storms / Hextouch / Conductivity / Culling Strike
Storm Brand / Hextouch / Conductivity / Culling Strike

You can use this to trigger your EO reliably, and put the curse on rares and bosses.

You will then need to adjust the following:

Sigil / Vaal RF / Second Wind / Flame Dash

I feel like the loss in Duration / AoE size is worth it. Since you can now drop 2 sigils if you like, and most things melt before the Vall RF is done.

PoB assumes 100% EO uptime, so increasing your crit won't change your PoB DPS (but will increase your effective in-game DPS if you don't currently have 100% uptime).

I agree with your points here, but with that second 4L you suggested, how are we fitting in both the Arcane Cloak and cwdt setups?

I personally am having trouble seeing a place for Sigil in this build unless it's in the cwdt setup or we're running an unset ring. It's legitimately strong for this build, but taking advantage of its buffs and debuffs requires some serious attention to positioning and I was just finding it limiting.

Was wondering the same thing how to set it up properly. Along came a semi-good Conductivity Unset ring for 15c.

Clarity put into it allows me to use Flame Dash / Second Wind / Sigil on a 3-link and have Orb of Storms / Increased Critical Strike / Vaal RF / Culling Strike on another 4-link.

That puts me at around 13% critchance with Orb of Storms, which is plenty.

Not sure if thats the best setup, but thats the fun in all of it. Figuring out stuff.

Also thanks to everyone here for all your input in this thrad over the past few leagues!

at the end game arc linked to how many gems? because in PoB and tl;dr: Leveling Section it has 3 gems linked to it but in end game there is now 6? I'm a bit confused should we use the new mentioned ones (Elemental Focus + Chain)?

Always link Arc (= your main damage source) with as many of its support gems as you can. While leveling you use 3- and later 4-link, so use all of them. As soon as you get a 5-link you use that until you get a 6-link.
Check the "Gem Setup" section for more info.

also in the leveling guide I got confused because it said here in act 5:
"
‣ Get Spell Echo in town and link it to Arc
‣ Get Increased Area of Effect and link it to Sigil of Power
‣ Get Cast when Damage taken, then get Wave of Conviction and Tempest Shield from Siosa
‣ Link them together and don't level up either of these gems from now on

so I understood it I shouldn't upgrade these gems: Spell Echo + Increased Area of Effect + Cast when Damage taken + Wave of Conviction + Tempest but in the tl;dr: Leveling Section
"
Cast when Damage taken (Lv1) + Tempest Shield (Lv1) + Wave of Conviction (Lv1) + Desecrate (Lv1)
not upgraded which I should follow.

There must be a mistake with Desecrate. Use PoB, "Skills" section, Buff/Debuff Trigger for reference. Cast when Damage Taken (lvl 1) + Tempest Shield (lvl 1) + Wave of Conviction (lvl 1) + Increased Duration (lvl 20) is your goal here.

Spell Echo and every other gem linked with Arc gets leveled to 20.

The tl;dr leveling section might be confusing, I'd suggest reading the full leveling section and checking PoB and the Gem Setup section for your final setup.

thank you

So I dropped Clarity, as I have no problem keeping up with regen and I wanted to take Supreme Ego for extra DPS.

Here are my gems:

Arc - Spell Echo - Archmage -Light Pen - Elem. Focus - Cont. Destruction

Sigil of Power - Vaal RF - Second Wind - Flame Dash
Orb of Storms - Conductivity - Hextouch - Culling Strike
Arcane Cloak - Arcane Surge - Increased Duration - Second Wind

Bone Offering - Spell Cascade - Desecrate
Wave of Conviction - Tempest Shield - CWDT

Wrath (Essence Worm)

Since Sigil of Power now gets 2 casts from Second Wind, I find it really easy to stay within its area when you overlap them like a venn diagram. I'm really only popping Sigil on bosses or Conquerors. The Orb set up allows, crits for EO, curse, and cull on bosses which is pretty good utility off 1 skill, imo.

PoB assumes 100% EO uptime, so increasing your crit won't change your PoB DPS (but will increase your effective in-game DPS if you don't currently have 100% uptime).

Yeah POB had me at 1.2M DPS, but in-game I feel like I am hitting like a wet noodle against bosses.

I was using Second Wind with Sigil at first to make it more tactically viable, but like Orb of Storms, it only lets you have one active at a time. As soon as you lay a second one, the first disappears (along with all the "stages" you've built up for it). But if you are able to utilize it effectively, then certainly continue to do so!

About Clarity--drop it for now if you don't need it, but don't throw it away; you'll eventually want to run RF for the insane damage boost, at which point you will almost certainly want to run Clarity again.

Exactly. I REALLY don't think it's advisable to rely on Arc to proc EO with this setup. It's just so much easier to throw a Storm Brand on a boss and know you'll be getting the 40% more damage automatically.
