Enki's Arc Witch Memorial Page & POE 2 Arc Summary

I think he meant bone offering.

Any thoughts on the value of capping block chance versus using Granite Iron Skin flask?

Assuming block chance stacks additively, you can achieve 67% chance to block attack damage and 55% chance to block spell damage:

Bone Offering applying to you: Half of 35% atk, 34% spell
Rumi: 20% attack, 10% spell
Fossilised Spirit Shield: 22% attack
Tempest Shield: 3% (4% with alt quality)
Taking Sanctuary with Thread of Hope: 4% attack and spell
Passives on Tree: 20% spell block from 5 different nodes.

Attack block: 17.5 + 20 + 22 + 4 + 4 = 67.5%
Spell block: 17 + 10 + 4 + 4 + 20 = 55%

I'm not the best with PoB, but I'm curious how strong this is (especially with Restore Mana on Block w/ Shaper Spirit Shield), compared to the extra armor from Granite Iron Skin Flask.

Since you are currently running this build on a Heirophant, are you going to put your last Ascendancy point on Sanctuary of Thought?
Thank you for all the help, I think I will figure it out.
do anointments heavily depend on your current needs or are there those that will always be the best for your build ? what i mean by that is for example you could be good on mana/regen but lack health would that change the decision on what anointment to pick or is there a goto that just outperforms nearly no matter what for this build ?
im having a real rough time deciding since theres so many good ones

Mind Drinker is a solid and cheap choice that should work well for a long time. Mana Flows is like a juiced up version, so you may change to that when you have the currency. In the previous build version, Enki suggested Undertaker annoint for some DPS boost. These are the ones that come to mind - I'd go Mind Drinker first and then Mana Flows.

im playing on standard so money isnt that big of an issue but what im getting out of this is even if you already have 7k+ mana and 2.5k+ mana regen it will still beat out options like crusader etc ? im asking because i really dont know if theres such a thing as "too much mana regen" or if u cant ever have enough of it

I see. I'm not the best one to answer, so hopefully someone else can chime in also. But I do think that the DPS of the build scales with maximum mana, and so those properties of the aforementioned anoints might also be important to consider (in addition to sustain and survivability).
DPS-wise, unless you're using Crown of the Inward Eye, I think nothing beats Crusader and it's Transfiguration of Mind (a bit more extra mana won't add this much DPS)

And if you don't care about money, you should have a rare helm (like the one you can find on my Harvest char on my profile for example), so Crusader will be the best DPS option I think.

If you lack survivability ofc you can go with Mana Flows :)
Mind drinker when you dont have any mana sustain to map properly. Once everything is set up then for sure I'd choose mana flows over undertaker just cuz of the consistency of regen. But actually, before I did this I went for whispers of doom up until I got awakened curse on hit (aka hextouch) to level 5. If you don't have a crown if inward eye you must annoint crusader. No other anoints. Fortunately you never really have to use any other helmet unless you're utterly lacking resistances. Crown of inward eye is a dps beast of a helmet that side grading for extra resistances and losing dps for me was not even worth it, instead I opted for more damage rolls on my other gear. Anyone can check my profile for ideal rolls you would want to go for as reference.

Mana flows goes well if you're a cloak of defiance user because cloak has no hp and depends entirely on the 10% damage taken to mana before life. The ehp effectiveness of cloak depends if you even have any mana left to take a hit. I only have 4k hp and this was way more than enough with cloak and watchers eye 50% mom. Another thing is atziris foible. If you use these two then you definitely have low hp and at this point I think it's best to go all in on mana to survive

I’d also say Primal Spirit is a viable mana node option. There are several good 10% life nodes worth considering, but I’d stick to a mana one in the long term.
